Organic Beauty on a Budget....

Rock'n'Roll - Rose & Sandalwood Bath Salts

Creation time: 5 mins

Ingredients:
Rose Essential Oil
Sandalwood Essential Oil
Base Oil (Almond, Jojoba, Olive)
Rock Salts (your choice)

You will need to buy a small bottle of organic rose and sandalwood essential oil (or you can use lavender if you'd prefer) they will cost anywhere between £5-15 each depending on the quality and will last for ages. If you want a good quality organic oil I suggest using one of the following:

You can use any of the following salts: Himalayan Bath Salts, Epsom Bath Salts, or Grey salts from Brittany. All of these salts are packed full of magnesium and are really good for soothing aches and pains, bathing in them for 20-30 mins can help Rheumatism and boost the immune system.

I often mix a few drops (8-10) of the rose and sandalwood oil with a base oil, such as Jojoba or Almond and pour this on to the salts for them to absorb. I like to add dried rose petals as in looks so pretty in the jar and feels luxurious to bathe in rose petals.

I then pop them into a glass jar any type will do as long as it's clean and leave them by my bath. I'll add a few spoonfuls to my bath each evening and it's really soothing, moisturizing and smells great!  They make fab christmas gifts too.

If you'd like to buy the equivalent Ila do some lovely organic bath salts very similar for £48.
